About The MNSCI

Shooters

The Midlands National Shooting Centre of Ireland offers the unique opportunity to enjoy the sport of shooting in a safe and professional environment. If you have always wanted to try this skilled yet relaxing and fun sport the Midlands National Shooting Centre of Ireland is the ideal surrounding.

Uniquely, the sport of rifle shooting offers the opportunity for people of both sexes, whether able-bodied or otherwise, to compete equally. Those who take part come from all walks of life, some approaching it as a high-concentration, highly-competitive sport, others as a relaxing pastime.

Range Opening Times

Closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and all Bank Holidays.

Opening Times: Saturdays and Sundays
Summertime - 10.00am to 5.00pm, all shooting ceases at 5.00pm.
Wintertime - 10.00am to 4.00pm, all shooting ceases at 4.00pm.

ALL OTHER TIMES (MIDWEEK) BY APPOINTMENT

Our members currently take part in several shooting disciplines including:

• Small-bore.
• Full-bore.
• Sporting Rifle.

• F-class.
• F Target Rifle.
• Match Rifle.

• Historic Rifle as well as Clay Pigeon Shooting.

Shooting Competition

Competitions

Midlands National Shooting Centre of Ireland is renowned for hosting both National and International competitions with our Members competing Worldwide. New members are always welcome regardless of ability or knowledge. Proficient and experienced coaching is available in all disciplines to get you safely started.

 

Who uses our facilities?

• National Rifle Association of Ireland for Practice and Competition in F.Class, FTR, Benchrest, Pistol.
• National Target Shooting Association For the National Small Bore Championships.
• National Association of Regional Game Council for Club and County Clay Pigeon Shoots.
• Deer Alliance HCAP for Proficiency Tests.

 

Facilities for the Range

• 50 Bay sheltered firing line with targets at 50, 100, 200 and 300 meters.
• 100 to 600 yard range with Target Butts system.
• 800, 900, 1,000 yard range with Target Butts system.
• Pistol Range from 10 to 25meters.
• Sporting ClayPpigeon.

 

Facilities for Visitors

• Wheelchair friendly shooting bays.
• Wheelchair friendly toilets.
• Competency Courses.
• Technical Advice on all aspects of Firearms.
• Advice on Licensing.
• Shooting accessories available for purchase.
